The CPC Provincial Committee of East China’s Jiangsu province convened a theme meeting Tuesday on the strengthening of disciplinary inspection and supervisory work concerning the implementation of the province’s rural revitalization strategy. The disciplinary inspection organs of the provincial party committee have followed the practice of the central government's special inspection on poverty alleviation, shouldered the responsibility, innovated work practices, followed the development of the overall situation, put forth countermeasures, and accomplished the targets, the statement said.
It is important to implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the latest requirements of the disciplinary inspection and supervision of the CPC Central Committee, deepen the understanding and enhance the political stance, and promote the high-quality development of the province's disciplinary inspection in a more scientific, more rigorous and more effective way, said the statement.
The seventh round of disciplinary inspection and supervision of the provincial party committee should give full play to the political guiding role of disciplinary inspection and supervision, follow the major decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the implementation of the major national strategies in the province, and ensure that the central government's overall policy is implemented in Jiangsu, according to the statement.
