More than 100 competitions were launched Wednesday for the Nanjing Tech Week with the finals to be held on June 28. As the key event of the Nanjing Tech Week, science and technology competitions are being carried out in the United States, Europe and other countries and regions, as well as major Chinese cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. The 101 competitions cover domestic and foreign academicians, foreign students, and young entrepreneurs, who have signed up with more than 15,000 projects. Among them, 122 winners will participate in the finals held in Nanjing on June 28th in a bid to promote the settlement of quality projects in Nanjing and help to build a city of innovation with global influence. Ningning, the mascot for the Nanjing Tech Week, was unveiled at the opening ceremony of the competitions.
