36 artists and 67 literary works were awarded at the award-giving ceremony of the 7th Nanjing Literature and Art Awards held Wednesday in Nanjing. Yang Yi, Wu Junfa, Zhang Daoyi, Zhao Jiajie and Huang Sujia were awarded lifetime achievement award. The Nanjing Literary and Art Prize has been held for six times since its inception in 1992. It has played an important role in discovering outstanding literary talents and promoting the creation of outstanding literary works. In recent years, in order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the General Secretary's series of important speech on the literature and art, Nanjing has formulated a three-year plan for the creation of literature and art, and once again launched the selection of the 7th Nanjing Literature and Art Award.
