The Purple Mountain Technology Forum was kicked off Monday afternoon on the sidelines of the 2nd Jiangsu Development Summit and 1st Global Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Convention.
Shing-Tung Yau, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, USA, and foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences revealed the intrinsic connection between artificial intelligence and modern mathematics in his speech. Yau is a tenured professor of Harvard University.
Other speakers include Zhang Xiang, Academician of the American Academy of Engineering, Foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and President of the University of Hong Kong, Meng Liqiu, Academician of the German Academy of Sciences, Vice Chairman of the German Aerospace Center and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Yifang, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Director of the Institute of Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
They expressed their full affirmation of Jiangsu's determination and efforts to build a self-controllable modern industrial system, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.
