To do a good job in the next stage of economic work, we must conscientiously implement Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and act in accordance with the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the deployment of the CPC Political Bureau meeting on April 19, and the arrangements of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 13th Provincial Party Committee so as to promote high quality development with new development concept, the statement said.
Greater efforts should be made to further consolidate the overall situation of economic and social stability through new progress in reform, opening up, and structural adjustment, pay attention to the steady demand of supply-side structural reforms, resolutely win the battle against poverty alleviation, forestalling and defusing major risks and preventing and controlling pollution, and make up for the weaknesses to ensure the smooth and healthy economic operation of the province, the statement said.
Jiangsu will strive to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry as an important support for steady growth, pay close attention to the survival of market players, and implement the burden-reduction policy measures so that enterprises can really benefit from the preferential policies, adhere to the main line of supply-side structural reform, respond to international trade frictions, adapt to the changing trend of development stage, grasp the trend of science and technology change, focus on building a modern industrial system, and attach importance to the development of regional economy, according to the statement.
