The 2nd "Friend City Painting" International Youth Painting Exhibition Awards Ceremony was held in Nanjing Sunday morning. The exhibition was co-sponsored by Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation and the province’s 328 sister cities around the world. It aims to build a friendship bridge between Chinese and foreign youths through painting. The theme of the event is "The Future of Dreams". After 6 months of solicitation of works at home and abroad, more than 200,000 works were submitted, including overseas works from 18 countries and 37 sister cities. At the same time, the third "Friend City Painting" with the theme of "Drawing Canal" will soon be launched, and children from all over the world will be invited to tell the stories related to the canal in the place where they live.
