The 21st Jiangsu International Fashion Festival will be held at the Nanjing International Expo Center from September 6th to 8th, according to a press conference held in Shanghai Tuesday by the Organizing Committee of the Jiangsu International Apparel Festival.
The festival will continue to highlight its own brand, fashion leadership, creative design and Internet marketing to accelerate the green development of the province’s textile industry.
Jiangsu registers 7,224 textile enterprises above designated size. The annual prime operating revenue exceeds one trillion yuan, accounting for 9.82% of the national total and ranking first in the country in terms of the production and sales scale. Its profit accounts for more than 19% of the national total, enabling the textile industry develope into a complete industrial system and products that leads the world.
Different from previous years, this year's Expo will set up a design and creative exhibition area for the first time to invite design institutions, design institutes and designers to display original design works. At that time, clothing brands from Korea, Romania and other countries will be exhibited to showcase international high-quality fashion design and fashion trends, and strengthen the communication with the world fashion brands.
