The Yangtze River Delta Rural Revitalization Research Institute was inaugurated in Nanjing Thursday morning. The institute is jointly proposed by the provincial academy of agricultural sciences in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui.
The Yangtze River Delta Rural Revitalization Research Institute will focus on the common problems of agricultural and rural development in the Yangtze River Delta region, brainstorming in areas such as industrial prosperity, ecological livability and affluence, and make full use of the advantages of the service industry and agricultural science and technology innovations in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui.
It will also launch research and development think tanks, make key technological breakthroughs, and train talents for the issues of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, provide technical support for regional agricultural and rural development, and build a national demonstration zone for rural revitalization.
