During the forum, the two sides will conduct in-depth exchanges on efficient crop production, agricultural mechanization, urban food supply, establishment of personnel dispatch channels and joint technical and personnel training and further strengthen and refine the cooperation between the two parties.
In his speech, Fei Gaoyun said that the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, as a specialized agency for solving global food security and agriculture issues, has long helped member countries to develop agriculture in various forms and has made outstanding contributions to the support of billions of people around the world.
The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy is a major decision-making arrangement made by the party's 19th National Congress, he said.
The theme of this forum is "Village Revitalization and Urban and Rural Development", which is highly compatible with the requirements of China’s central government and closely integrated with the characteristics of the times, the vice governor said.
Fei Gaoyun said he believes that this forum will provide new ideas, new models and new measures for the implementation of Jiangsu rural revitalization strategy and urban and rural development, and will also contribute more Jiangsu wisdom to rural construction and urban and rural development.
