从小务过农，上学学的农，工作后又从事农业科学研究，我与“三农”有着不解之缘。
I did farm work in my childhood, went to college to study agriculture, and engaged in agricultural science research after graduating from college. I have an indissoluble bond with the agriculture, farmer and rural areas.
今年是我第二次参加全国两会，我格外珍惜这次机会，也明白重任在肩。我要把关于农业农村的社情民意带到北京，尽到一名政协委员的本分。“不忘自己科研工作者的身份，为我省乃至全国的农业发展献计献策。”这是去年我当选全国政协委员立下的履职“小目标”。
I bear in mind that I am a scientific researcher and must contribute to the development of agriculture in the province and even the whole country. This is my performance target when I was elected a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference last year.
今年上会，我把目光投向农业现代化发展和农业人才的培养，灵感来源于我平时工作中的积累与发现。习近平总书记也在中央农村工作会议上提出，“要发展现代农业，推进农业由增产导向转向提质导向”。
During this year’s annual session, I am more concerned about the development of agricultural modernization and the cultivation of agricultural talents. The inspiration comes from the accumulation and discovery in my work. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the Central Rural Work Conference that "it is necessary to develop modern agriculture and promote the shift from agricultural production to quality improvement."
在日常工作中，我不止一次地接触到我国沿海东部大量的盐田。能把这些“不毛之地”变成“绿色粮仓”吗？我想答案是肯定的。经过调研我们发现，这些盐田污染小，土壤盐质含量高，哪些地块适合种植粮食，哪些地方适合发展养殖业，我建议国家能够做好规划并因地制宜进行合理开发，才能实现“把饭碗端在自己手里”。
In my daily work, I have kept thinking about turning the large number of salt fields in the eastern part of China's coastal areas into “green granaries”. I think the answer is yes. After investigation, we found that these salt fields are less polluted and have high soil salinity. Which plots are suitable for growing food and which areas are suitable for the development of aquaculture, I suggest that the state can plan well and develop it according to local conditions, in order to achieve the goal of putting the rice bowl in its own hands, as is put by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
绿色希望更离不开人才做“基石”，培养农业人才是当务之急。在去年全国两会上，我提出要加强基层农业队伍建设，得到了农业农村部的及时反馈。今年上会，我再次将目光对准农业人才的培养。
Green hope is inseparable from talents as the ballast stone, and cultivating agricultural talents is a top priority. At the annual session of the National People's Congress last year, I submitted a motion on strengthening the construction of grassroots agricultural teams, which was endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This year, I will once again focus on the cultivation of agricultural talents.
将辛勤的汗水洒向脚下的土地，为大地的丰收播种满满的希望。面对未来，脚踏热土，为农业农村现代化建设奋斗青春，我感到幸福而快乐！
Sprinkle the hard sweat on the land under your feet and plant the hope for the harvest of the earth. Facing the future, I am more than pleased and happy to work hard for the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
