During his inspection tour to Qiantu Motor, Wu Zhenglong said the development of new energy vehicles is very promising due to the fact that China is insufficiently supported with petroleum and gas, adding that it is important for the company to accurately grasp the global automotive industry change trends and consumer demand, and strive to gain the upper hand in the fierce competition.

Wu visited the Fenhu High-tech Zone to learn about the environmental management and regional planning of the Taipu River. He said that it is necessary to seize opportunities, strengthen coordination, work in compliance with the overall situation, and make greater achievements in the regional integration development of the Yangtze River Delta.
During his inspection tour to Suzhou Yangtze River Delta International R&D Cluster Exhibition Center, the Governor learned more about planning layout and operation mode, adding that that innovation determines the future, so that we must profoundly grasp the world's scientific and technological development trend, high-point positioning, long-term planning, sound demand-oriented approaches, enterprise-oriented integrated innovation mechanism of production, education and research so as to gather global high-end resources, and accelerate the industrial transformation and upgrading.
Wu Zhenglong also visited China Mobile Suzhou R&D Center, Ziguang Cloud Engine, Inno Light Technology to understand the application of new technologies and new products.
When visiting Shantang Street in urban Suzhou, Wu Zhenglong inspected the Suzhou Chamber of Commerce Museum and Embroidery Studio to understand the inheritance of historical and cultural protection. He said that the old street block is a treasure that has been passed down in the long history of Suzhou, making it important to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture amid the sense of homesickness.
