Nanjing and Suzhou continued to lead the province in the talent pool while Xuzhou maintained growth momentum among the north Jiangsu regions, according to Jiangsu Talent Competitiveness Report 2018 released Saturday by the Jiangsu Talent Development Strategy Research Institute and the Provincial Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association.
The Report re-ranked the talent competitiveness of 13 prefectural cities and 41 counties in the province. Nanjing and Suzhou continued to lead the province, and Xuzhou gained good performances in the cities of northern Jiangsu. Among the top 10 counties and cities, the southern Jiangsu regions occupy seven slots with Kunshan ranking first in the province's counties and districts for four consecutive years.
In terms of talent competitiveness of the development zone, the southern Jiangsu regions occupied dominant overall strength with the Suzhou Industrial Park outshining others to rank first in the province in talent competitiveness for many years.
