East China’s Jiangsu province ushered in the new year with the launch of major investment projects while construction projects are in full swing across the province.
The Beijing-Oriental Suzhou IntelligentManufacturingService Industrial Park project, a key project of the Suzhou Wujiang District Development Zone, had its roof sealed during the New Year's Day after 220 days of intense construction.
This project is an important measure for Beijing-Oriental to optimize the industrial layout through technological innovation. It is also an important carrier for Wujiang Development Zone to launch another 100 billion yuan project in a bid to consolidate and expand the advantages of Wujiang Development Zone in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, high-end manufacturing and information industry.
The industrial park, at a cost of 4.022 billion yuan, is planned to be put into operation at the end of June this year to produce 20 million units of intelligent whiteboards, monitors and other smart terminals each year.
Jiangsu Haili Offshore Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is stepping up the construction of the main structure of No.1 and No.2 plants for its new wind turbine tower manufacturing project which involves a total investment of 200 million yuan. In order to ensure the progress and quality of the project, the construction party abandoned the more complicated wood mold process as was the case in the past and adopted the steel mold technology.
Upon its completion, the project will turn out 400 sets of 5 MW wind turbine towers and 240 sets of 10 MW wind turbine towers each year with the annual taxable sales expected to reach 2 billion yuan, which will further develop the functions of the complete equipment base of heavy equipment and give a strong impetus to the the development of wind power generation, wind power equipment manufacturing and supporting industries in Rudong County and Jiangsu at large.
