Yang Yue, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, met with a Hong Kong delegation headed by Ma Zhongli, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Association of Jiangsu Compatriots in Hong Kong.
Yang extended his warm congratulations to Mr. Ma for his re-election last March as the chairman of the Association of Jiangsu Compatriots in Hong Kong.
He also extended his gratitude to the association and its volunteers for the great support to Jiangsu.
He hoped that the association and its members will continue to seek active participation in the social and economic development in the homeland, promote the one country two-system policy and strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong so as to help the province take the lead in the country’s high-quality development.
Mr. Ma said his associationwill give full play to its advantages to promote the exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong so as to make greater contribution to the province’s high-quality development.
