Guo Wenqi, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Organization, met Monday in Nanjing with a delegation of the People’s Party of Sierra Leone headed by Mr. Umaru Napoleon Koroma, General Secretary of the Party.
On behalf of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, Guo Wenqi extended his warm welcome to Koroma and his delegation.
He said that the Sierra Leone People’s Party, as the ruling party, has maintained friendly relations with China, adding that Jiangsu will implement the high-level consensus reached by the top leaders of the two countries, actively participate in the existing bilateral cooperation mechanism, and work with Sierra Leone to contribute to the stability of the relations between the two countries and benefit the two peoples.
Umaru Koroma said that Jiangsu's development experience in various fields of economy and society is worth learning, and more Jiangsu enterprises are welcome to invest in Sierra Leone.
