The very best taekwondo teams from around the world will compete in the 2021 World Taekwondo Championships, which will showcase all the speed, drama and thrilling-action of team taekwondo. The city of Wuxi from Jiangsu province won the right to host the 2021 World Taekwondo Championships at the World Executive Committee Meeting of the World Taekwondo Federation in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This marks the return of the world's top Taekwondo event to China 14 years later. Wuxi has become the third Chinese city to host the Taekwondo World Championships after Beijing and Hong Kong.More than 2,000 athletes from nearly 200 countries and regions are expected to come to Wuxi, the new home of taekwondo in China, to compete in the Taekwondo World Championships. Wuxi played host to the World Taekwondo World Cup Team Championships from 27-29 July this year.
