East China’s Jiangsu province topped the country’s direct power trading with its scale expected to hit 190 billion kWh this year, standing for an average reduction of electricity bill by 1.9 cents per kilowatt hour, the provincial power trading center said Thursday. The Jiangsu Electric Power Trading Center took the initiative this year to extend the access scope of power users to 10 kV and above, basically covering all industrial and commercial users in the province. In 2018, Jiangsu Power Trading Center posted 28 billion kWh of monthly average settlement volume with the monthly electricity bill settlement completed before the first day of the month, enabling the province to lead the country in terms of the efficiency and accuracy of the power trading settlement. The experiments of large consumers direct power trading is conducting in china nationwide, and it’s important to the reform of electricity market.
