East China’s Jiangsu province has posted rapid growth since the beginning of this year in its information transmission, software and information technology service industry through continuously strengthened technological innovation and a steady and good development trend. 8 companies from Jiangsu are listed in the 2018 ranking of China’s top 100 companies in terms of software business revenue.
The threshold for this year’s ranking is 1.62 billion yuan of annual operating revenue, a gain of 170 million yuan and up 11.9% from a year ago.
Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. topped the list for 17 consecutive years, and ZTE Corporation and Haier Group Company ranked second and third. 8 Jiangsu companies are listed in the ranking, including Nanjing NARI Group, Panda Electronics Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Communication Service Co., Ltd., all of which are from Nanjing.
In the first three quarters of this year, the information transmission, software and information technology services industry in the province's above-scale service industry registered business revenue of 248.24 billion yuan, an increase of 16.2% over the same period of the previous year and an increase of 0.9 percentage points over the first quarter.
The province's software and information technology service industry posted operating revenue of 98.68 billion yuan from January to September, an increase of 12%, continuing to maintain a relatively fast development trend.
