General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the private enterprise symposium has set off a learning boom in the province. All localities and departments have made active response to the General Secretary’s speech by focusing on optimizing the business climate and helping private enterprises gather growth momentum.

The taxation of private enterprises in Yangzhou accounts for more than 70% of the city's tax revenue. In order to allow enterprises to enjoy preferential tax benefits, the Yangzhou tax department will conduct surveys to help enterprises solve practical problems encountered in the process of development. The financial department will purchase service vouchers, innovation vouchers and technical vouchers for enterprises through the government's purchase of service forms, and guide financial institutions to provide various financing products for small and micro enterprises, and solve the financing problems for private enterprises.

The financial department of Taizhou City will increase investment and expand the loan risk compensation fund pool for technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise to 50 million yuan, and arrange another 20 million special risk compensation funds every year. The citys financial office will further strengthen the financing supply and demand system, and build a one-stop, one-click, integrated financing platform for small and micro enterprises.

The Hongze District of Huai'an City held a private economy symposium to help private enterprises make the best use of market operations platforms such as capital, financing, information and talents in a bid to improve their core competitiveness.

Private businesses’ status and role in China’s economic and social development are unchanged; the Party’s policies of unswervingly encouraging, supporting and guiding the development of private businesses are unchanged; and the Party’s dedication to improving the environment and providing more opportunities for private businesses is unchanged, Xi said.

China’s private businesses can only become stronger in the process of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, he said, and they should play on a broader stage.
