Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference as well as the 3rd International Forum on Energy Transition held in Suzhou City on Oct. 18.
Jiangsu has made international energy cooperation an important part of its participation in the “Belt and Road”. After years of efforts, Jiangsu has gradually formed a cooperation framework with “multi-levels, multi-channels, diversified approaches and multi-fields”.
With this conference and forum as the new starting point, Jiangsu will join hands with all parties to further strengthen the international cooperation in the energy revolution, making new contributions to the global energy transformation and development.
The opening ceremony attracted the participation of energy ministers and senior officials from 29 countries and economies, heads and senior representatives from 7 international organizations, and business leaders of 53 well-known Chinese and foreign energy companies.
