3 TV drama series produced by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation were awarded varying prizes of the 29th China TV Golden Eagle Award announced at the award-giving ceremony Sunday evening.
The TV series "In the Spring" won the "Outstanding TV Drama Award"."Cherry-apple Tree" won the "Best TV Drama Award" and "Three Sisters" was nominated for the "TV Drama Award".
The 29th China TV Golden Eagle Awards received 105 works submitted by various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. One was named the best TV drama awards, 11 won the outstanding TV drama awards and 33 won the nomination awards.
The China TV Golden Eagle Award, commonly known in China as the Golden Eagle Awards, is one of three main national award ceremonies recognizing excellence in the Chinese television industry. The award is presented by the China Television Artists Association.
It is considered to be one of the most prestigious television awards, alongside the Feitian Awards and Magnolia Awards.
The Golden Eagle Awards are a biennial awards ceremony, held on alternate years with the Feitian Awards since 2005.
