Three Jiangsu writers won the 7th Lu Xun Literature Award, setting a historic high. The award-winning list was announced last Saturday in Beijing.

Zhu Hui, editor-in-chief of Rainbow Magazine, won the Short Story Award for his Seven-storey Pagoda. The novel describes the conflicts between Grandpa Tang, who is a farmer-turned worker in the urban area, and a young couple upstairs, showing the ethical changes and neighborhood watch in the new countryside construction.

The Hourglass by Hu Xian, the editor-in-chief of Yangzijiang Poetry, has achieved considerable success in the spirit of poetry and poetry skills through the capture of daily experience and the grasp of details. He won the Poetry Award of the Lu Xun Literature Award.

Wang Yao, a professor at the School of Liberal Arts of Soochow University, won the Literature Theory Review Award for his rereading of Wang Zengqi and related issues in contemporary literature. The article discusses the issues related to Wang Zengqi's literature from four aspects: the contrast of mainstream literary thoughts, the connection with tradition, the narrative language and style, and the dissipative culture of novels.

The Lu Xun Literature Award is sponsored by the Chinese Writers Association. It is one of the most honored literary awards in China. It is selected once every four years. 34 works won the Lu Xun Award this year.
