Jianye Yingke Bookstore, located at the Xincheng S&T Park in Jianye District of Nanjing City, opened to the public on July 26, providing readers 4,000 books on topics including literature, geography, and life.
Being supportive in public reading, Jianye District has constantly improved the library system and strived to offer a “ten-minute” reading service, which means people can find a place to read only walking for ten minutes at most. At present, there are 71 libraries in the district, and each of its streets and communities is equipped with a library outlet. By the end of June this year, the district had organized 261 reading activities of various kinds, making the ideas of "Love reading, Good at reading, and Reading good books" deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
