The 8th Jiangsu Book Fair will be held in Suzhou International Expo Center on July 13, and the 2nd Suzhou Culture Consumption Month is now under way as part of the activities of the Book Fair. In addition to the regular book discounts, cultural consumption subsidies will be a major highlight of this year.
This year's Jiangsu Book Fair coincides with the second Suzhou Cultural Consumption Month, in which the book coupons obtained by citizens can be used at the book fair. Citizens need to login to Suzhou Citizen Card APP or the "Cultural Consumption" section of its official WeChat. Then, they need to register and bound to the social security Card of Suzhou (i.e. Citizen Card A) to participate. Each person can be bound to up to 5 citizen cards A.
During the book fair, the citizens can enjoy a discount of 10% on the basis of the original discount of the books by simply using their own citizen card A when shopping at the main exhibition venue. The preferential portion is subsidized by the municipal special fund for cultural consumption.
To facilitate the public to enjoy a "discount" at book fairs and participate in the Cultural Consumption Month, Suzhou Citizen Card Company staff will be at the Book Fair throughout the exhibition to provide help. To avoid queuing, citizens can also pre-charge their e-wallets with Citizen Card A cards at various service outlets, MTR self-service terminals, convenience stores, etc., before coming to the Book Fair.
