Approved by the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau,the Huaguoshan Hill in Lianyungang city was officially named National Geological Park and became the fourth of its kind in the province. The Huaguoshan National Geological Park has a total area of 21.84 square kilometers. The park has rich geological relics and natural landscapes and is diverse in biological resources, especially the typical geological relics such as ultra-high pressure metamorphic rocks, sea erosion relics and landscapes and collapses.
