The China-US film and television cross-border project roadshow opened in the Binhu District of Wuxi City on June 19, with 12 Hollywood S&T companies seeking cooperation in the Wuxi Studios.
Leaders from nearly 100 companies of culture, production, technology and investment and financing institutes participated the event, which centered on the integration of three major components - “filmmaking + technology,” “talents + project,” and “domestic + overseas”.
China requires more talents, technology, fund as well as standards for the development of science and technology for filmmaking, a consensus generally accepted among the participants in the roadshow. The planned projects include the annual China-US Film and TV Summit, regularcross-border roadshows, and more exchange of design talents in the film and television industry, in order to attract more high-quality resources and technology specialist to settle in Binhu District.
