The provincial committee of the CPPCC held its seventh meeting of executive chairpersons of its 12th session. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the provincial CPPCC, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

Huang Lixin said that achieving higher quality and integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta is an important directive made by General Secretary Xi Jinping and a major strategy decided by the CPC Central Committee, adding that it is also a major decision-making arrangement of the party committees of the three provinces and one municipality and the eager expectation of the cadres and the people in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Jiangsu will focus on planning and cooperation, strategic collaboration, special topic cooperation, market integration, and mechanism improvement in accordance with the requirements of the first meeting of executive chairpersons of the CPPCC in the Yangtze River Delta region so as to solicit political advice to promote the materialization of the results of the 14th symposium of the main leadership of the Yangtze River Delta.
Vice chairpersons of the Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference Zhu Xiaojin, Ma Jianguo, Yan Li, Zhou Jiye, Hu Gang and Secretary-General Yang Feng attended the meeting.
