A theatrical performance staged by artists from Jiangsu province enraptured the audience in Taiwan Tuesday evening when it was performed at the Xinzhuang Culture and Arts Center of New Taipei city.
The performance got started with the opera drama A Beautiful Jasmine, which is choreographed by the Dance Troupe of the Jiangsu Performing Arts Group.
Some 100 artists from both sides of the Taiwan Straits joined in the performance featuring music, dance, Peking opera and instrumental music. The artists come from the Dance Troupe of the Jiangsu Performing Arts Group, Taiwan Xinzhuang Art Trouoe and Taiwan Fo Guang Shan Monastery Choir.
