The ninth “Attract Talents” program opened Tuesday in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. More than 100 people from 17 countries and regions who got their doctoral degrees overseas attended to the opening ceremony. Some of them looked for job opportunities in Jiangsu, and some even settled down in the province.
This program is supported by the China Zhi Gong Party, one of China’s eight legally recognized political parties, to introduce talented people back to China after studying aboard. It has been held for eight years, and more than 300 talented people overseas have been brought back since then. Among them, more than 150 settled down in Jiangsu province.
