More than 50 football coaches and teachers from schools in the Xinbei District of Changzhou have been attending German football coach Mr. Karim's goalkeeper training sessions in Guoying Primary School. Being sister cities, Kreis Herford, Germany and the Xinbei District, Changzhou share an initiative to cultivate campus soccer coaches. Mr. Karim is invited here on this cause.

In the training session, Coach Karim was enlightening the goalkeepers. In the first training session, Coach Karim began with the goalkeeper's footwork and gradually explained the choice of position, the cultivation of basic skills and tactics in organizing attacks. The lively and detailed explanation benefited the three goalkeepers who participated in the training as well as the teachers who observed the scene.
Karim Coach's training courses are practical in the game, and meanwhile corrected some of the common trivial errors in football training." Qiu Liye, head of Guoying Primary School Football Program, gave reporters an example that “as for the goalkeeper’s ground ball technique, Coach Karim made it clear that the body should lean forward and take the ball forward, to make it easier for further attack.” "I've never had anyone come up with such details in the football coach training I've attended."
It is understood that the training is divided into four sessions, and coach Karim will give the football teachers training skills on offensive and defensive tactics on 19 June and 22 June respectively. The series of activities is jointly sponsored by Changzhou Wemhoener Charity Foundation and Changzhou Xinbei District Guoying Primary School; and is greatly supported by the Xinbei District Social Services Bureau, Xinbei District Business Bureau, Hehai Street and Longhutang Street.
