2018 FIFA World Cup Russia has officially opened Thursday night at 11 p.m. Beijing time. The whole world is focusing its attention on Russia.

The FIFA World Cup is coming

In Shanghai Pudong International Airport, all the fights to Moscow are crammed with passengers and most of them are football fans.

Zhu Guanlin, the reporter from Xuzhou broadcasting station said: “when we are waiting to check in, it’s very interesting that some of the travelers just don’t hold the traveling visas like I do, but they have the football fans’ identification cards. During the World Cup, Russia welcomes football fans to enter the country with their ID cards instead of the visas.

Ms. An, a football fan, said: “This is the first time that I am so close to the world cup. Although the Chinese team doesn’t have the access to the World Cup, we should have passion for the football.”

The traveling route promoted by travel agencies, named “World Cup”, is popular and greatly welcomed in Jiangsu. The fans are desperate to experience the charm of the World Cup despite the traveling price varying from 20,000 to 50,000 yuan per person.

Wang Dongsheng, the vice general manager in Zhenjiang Chinese Youth Travel Agency, said: “ Most of our customers choose the traveling route with the World Cup tickets. They can enjoy the FIFA and meanwhile enjoy the nice landscape at the same time”.

The cultural elements from Jiangsu sparkling in Moscow

Besides the large number of Chinese football fans, Jiangsu elements can be found everywhere in Moscow. Near the Red Square, among several European architectures, there is one tea shop decorated in Chinese style. This special tea shop has been here for 130 years. Walking in the shop, the beautiful Russian shop assistants will welcome you warmly and introduce the Chinese teas in the store.

The tea shop assistant said: “In the past, we didn’t have so many types of teas, but now we have. The teas you have in China can also be found here”.

Under the initiative of “Belt and Road”, the trading cooperation between Russia and China becomes more and more frequent. The first Sino-Euro trading train from Nanjing to Russia started in June, 2016. The train runs twice a week and each journey lasts 15 days. Among the trading goods, 60% of them are made in Jiangsu. With the mark of Jiangsu, these qualified goods travel through the grassland and desert, then finally arrive in Russia.
