Known as a mariner-diplomat, Zheng He set out from Nanjing for seven voyages across the Western Seas and visited dozens of countries along the road. His voyages marked the beginning of maritime diplomacy, contributing to the friendly relations between China and the rest of the world.

Nanjing Yunjin is among the top of the four most famous Chinese brocades. This cloth is made of the finest materials, consisting of gold and peacock feather yarn. Using sophisticated techniques, intricately colorful patterns are weaved into Nanjing Yunjin. The fashion show presents a feast for the eyes using Yunjin designs that combine traditional Eastern aesthetics with Western fashion designs.
