1300 top-notch professionals and over 250 enterprises and public institutions showed up at the 11th Nanjing Conference on International Exchange and Cooperation for Overseas Chinese Professionals that kicked off Sunday morning in Nanjing.
A series of talent-friendly policies were promoted at the opening ceremony and letters of appointment were awarded to 26 members of the newly-established Nanjing high-level talents recommendation committee. During the two-year term of office, the 26 recommenders can directly recommend and identify 1-3 high-level talents.
For the first time, the conference set up exhibition areas for all the prefectural cities in Jiangsu. The 12 prefectural cities other than Nanjing displayed their innovation policy and service environment. Nanjing Jiangbei New District and 15 industrial parks carried out entrepreneurial carrier display and project negotiation.
Exhibition venues were also set up by 109 national post-doctoral scientific research stations and post-doctoral innovation practice bases in Jiangsu
More than 60 outstanding scientific and technological enterprises above the designated scale in Nanjing offered more than 200 jobs by promising a salary range of 300,000 to 1,000,000 yuan to recruit overseas talents.
More than 4,500 doctoral talents from home and abroad were recruited through the previous ten sessions of the conference which has also facilitated the cooperation of more than 1,850 technical projects with Nanjing-based enterprises and institutions.
