The 2018 China Huai'an International Food Expo opened Thursday. Vice Governor Miao Ruilin attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Miao said Jiangsu is a big consumer province and a major food industry powerhouse. Huai'an is at the core of the food industry belt that Jiangsu has focused on and has played a good role in promoting the high-quality economic development of the entire city and the province. This year's Food Expo attracted 280 companies and more than 20,000 guests with the number of overseas exhibitors accounting for about 40%.
