Huai'an City kicked off the construction on 86 major projects in 9 counties or districts with a total investment of 86.8 billion yuan. In 2018, major investment projects in Huai'an are characterized by large investment volume, wide coverage, high technical content, and good ecological benefits. An addition of 25 investment projects was launched compared with the same period of last year with the total investment increasing by 27%. Among them, industrial projects accounted for over 50% of the total, and 10 billion yuan will be injected into new-energy, integrated circuits, wafer semiconductors, featured towns and other high-tech and environment-friendly industrial single-chip investment projects. Huai'an has prioritized ecological and green development in the promotion of industrial development. In the next step, Huai'an will strengthen overall coordination to ensure that the projects will be put into production as soon as possible.
