According to the list, there are three popular directions for domestic tourism during Spring Festival. The first one features Sanya, Lijiang, Xiamen, Dali,Xishuangbanna and other warmer places in the South. The second one is the opposite, featuring icy and snowy cities like Harbin and Jilin in Northeast China. The last one features cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing, where people experience traditional customs and foods.
Starting from the 3rd and 4th day of the Chinese New Year, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Changzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Wuxi, Nanjing and Beijing have become the top 10 most popular destinations in the country.
Though Nanjing is mostly raining during the Spring Festival, it is still popular among tourists.
