Lou Qinjian was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress at the fourth plenary meeting of the first session of the thirteenth People's Congress of Jiangsu Province held in Nanjing Wednesday morning. Chen Zhenning, Xu Zhongzi, Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Wei Guoqiang and Qu Futian were elected Vice-Chairmen. Chen Mengmeng was elected Secretary-General. Ding Rui and other 55 were elected as members of the Provincial People’s Congress.
Also at the fourth plenary meeting of the first session of the thirteenth People's Congress, Wu Zhenglong was elected governor of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. Fan Jinlong, Miao Ruilin, Ma Qiulin, Wang Jiang, Guo Yuanqiang, Fei Gaoyun, Liu Yang and Chen Xingying were elected vice-governors of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
Jiang Zhuoqing was elected Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Supervisory Commission. Xia Daohu was elected President of Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court and Liu Hua was elected Procurator of Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate.
The plenary meeting was presided over by Huang Lixin, Executive Chairman of the Presidium, Executive Chairman of the Legislative Session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial CPPCC.
