The 3rd Green and Clean Forum was hosted in Nanjing last Thursday. Jointly held by BASF-YPC and European Chamber, this forum addressed the key environmental topics of water preservation and environmental impact.
Accompanied by the attendance of about 200 representatives from industries and media, Mr. Uwe Kirchgaessner, President of BASF-YPC Company Limited delivered a welcoming speech, laying emphasis on the protection of water resource. As the leading chemical company, BASF has set a global goal for sustainable water management and is committed to responsible water use in production and along the value chain.
Other keynote speakers also made remarks offering solutions and expressing concerns. Mr. Dufour, Economic Counsellor of French Embassy in China, stressed the importance to protect our water, air and climate.
As one of the main organizers of this forum, European Chamber Nanjing Chapter has carried out its due responsibility on clean and green resources and highlighted on the achieved progress between this forum and the previous ones.
