Jiangsu CPC chief, Governor inspect World Intelligent Manufacturing Summit

  Lou Qinjian, secretary of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Wu Zhenglong, Governor of Jiangsu, went on an inspection tour of the 2017 World Intelligent Manufacturing Summit on Friday.

  Lou hoped that the participating enterprises would take advantage of the platform of the summit and the province’s technological and educational resources to boost exchange and cooperation to promote the formation of more original innovation and integrated innovation.

  He also extended his warm welcome to business endeavors from more enterprises, hoping that they will take root in Jiangsu and help the province to embark on a new journey for the acceleration of the transformation and development.

  The summit, themed on cohesion, integration, innovation and transformation, saw the comprehensive display of latest technologies and top-notch products from the domestic and foreign intelligent manufacturing fields with the number of exhibitors reaching more than 300, including more than 30 benchmarking enterprises from the domestic and international field of intelligent manufacturing.

  Lou and Wu inspected the intelligent manufacturing model and innovation hall to learn about the latest products and cutting-edge technologies from domestic and overseas flagship enterprises such as CRRC, Phoenix Contact, XCMC, Bosch and ZK Software.

   The top leaders watched the demonstration of the industrial Internet large-scale data platform through the large-screen to understand the domestic situation of the networked large construction machinery and equipment and made inquiry of the market shares and the cumulative working hours of the XCMC products.

   Lou Qinjian encouraged XCMC to bring into full play its solid manufacturing foundation and make new explorations in the Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing and integration of information technology and industrialization with a global vision to carve out a new path of development for the transformation and upgrading of the traditional manufacturing industry.

  The Provincial CPC chief and Governor also visited the exploration and practice zone of intelligent manufacturing in Nanjing to gain a deep understanding of the latest products and cutting-edge technologies of Eston Robots, Informrack and Itrackstar, hoping that these flagship enterprises will seize the current opportunities for expansion and development to come up with a cluster-driven effect for the overall promotion of the city’s intelligent manufacturing capacity.

  The intelligent equipment and control hall saw the convergence of the key products and key technologies of international and domestic major equipments.

  The top leaders made inquiry of the intelligent manufacturing products and intelligence solutions from Panda Group, Gree Air-conditioning, Huawei Group and other flagship enterprises by chatting with the R&D professionals.

  Lou Qinjian hoped that these enterprises will seize the opportunities from the evolution of the computer and Internet technologies from being pioneering to becoming universal and take advantage of the technology trends to comply with the market changes for new breakthroughs in original innovation and integrated innovation through their cooperation with Jiangsu-based universities and research institutes. The goal is to turn more scientific breakthroughs into productivity for the promotion of transformation and upgrading and the sustained development of the emerging industries.

  Under the philosophy of Work to Integrate and Make it Smarter, the world intelligent manufacturing summit is launched to build an open and diversified platform for communication and cooperation among worldwide experts, scholars and industrial elites in respect of intelligent manufacturing, to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing in view of the new momentum of economic development and the progress of human society.
