Wu Zhenglong, Governor of Jiangsu Province met with Ōmura Hideaki, governor of Aichi prefecture in Japan and his delegation in Nanjing on November 21st.
Wu said that 2017 marks the 45th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. Aichi Prefecture has a long-term relation with Jiangsu Province, which has become an important bridge of sino-Japanese communication. And Governor Hideaki is also an old friend to Jiangsu.
Jiangsu leads in aspects like industrial development, technology innovation, culture and education, which is quite similar to Aichi Prefecture. The two sides share a huge ground for cooperation, said Wu.
Wu also said that Jiangsu is now implementing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. The province is now promoting Xi’s idea of new development and will continuously open up to foreign countries. The two sides shall strengthen technology cooperation, cultural exchange and future promote communications between the younger generations, said Wu.
Ōmura Hideaki said that Aichi hopes to deepen cooperation in all aspects with Jiangsu Province, and promote a better relation between the two sides.
