The second annual session of Jiangsu Intelligent Manufacturing Contest went underway Thursday in Nanjing. By carrying forward the concept of integrating innovation and intelligent manufacturing for the future, the contest organizers have canvassed solutions from across the country to promote deep integration of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and the brick-and-mortar economy by building an innovation platform and a dream stage for the vast number of manufacturing enterprises and R&D institutions. New participants emerged in the contest as the technical prowess of the competition projects is upgraded. A shared bicycle system developed by Yong’an Bicycle System Co., Ltd. from Changzhou city, for example, is playing an important role in the day-to-day management of the shared bikes program. The preliminary round of the contest is held in Nanjing, Wuxi, Xuzhou and Suzhou with 12 outstanding projects entering the final. The finals of the contest will be held in December.
