15 Dutch teenagers went to Kaiming Middle School in Huai’an of Jiangsu province on Nov. 6 to experience the marvelous Chinese tie-dye craftsmanship.
As a kind of unique Chinese folk dyeing crafts, the tie-dye craftsmanship boasts hundreds of dyeing techniques, and different tie-dyeing skills can produce quite different effects, even for the same tie-dyeing patterns.
At the school, the Dutch teens fully flied their imagination and personally made their tie-dyed pieces, which will be given to their family members as presents after back to Holland.
