2017 Suzhou International Women Half Marathon was held in Wangshan Scenic Area yesterday. It is the biggest marathon competition ever held in Wuzhong District. More than 5,000 participants from 65 cities of eight countries and regions competed in the marathon. As a part of the international event “Pink Ribbon” for breast cancer prevention, the competition calls on women to take good care of their health. The marathon also promotes the development of sports culture and all-for-one tourism in Wuzhong District and resource sharing in Taihu Lake area.
