Huang Lixin, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and executive vice governor of Jiangsu, gave the awards Saturday morning to the winners of the Jiangsu college students ' entrepreneurship competition.
2532 business startup projects and 469 contestants attended the competition, vying for the titles in different categories.
During her speech, Huang Lixin said that the upsurge of mass entrepreneurship is booming in Jiangsu and the number of the startup projects and contestants in the entrepreneurial competition has fully demonstrated the quality and impact of the entrepreneurial idea, which has encouraged college students to explore the entrepreneurial path.
Huang also stressed that all localities, departments, colleges and universities should take Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era as the guidelines by getting united tightly around the decision-making deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government with the focus laid on the work of enriching the people and inspiring more college students to launch business startups.
