Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu, met on Friday in Nanjing with Wim Van de Donk, King's Commissioner in the Province of Noord-Brabant of the Netherlands.
Wu Zhenglong extended his warm welcome to Mr. Van de Donk for his sixth visit to Jiangsu since he took office.
The Governor also expresses his congratulation to Van de Donk for his being awarded the title of honorary citizen of Jiangsu.
Wu briefed Mr. Van de Donk on the creation of the Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era at the 19th CPC National Congress that was concluded last week in Beijing.
Jiangsu is a leading province featuring economic prowess, scientific and technological strength, cultural prosperity and openness of the export-oriented economy, the governor said.
The governor also hoped that both sides would follow the consensus reached between the top leaders of the two countries to deepen the pragmatic cooperation in R&D, green energy, economy and trade investment and person-to-person exchange so as to benefit the

He pledged that he would continue to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two provinces.
