Xiaomi Tech has signed an agreement with authorities in Nanjing on the relocation of its east China headquarters to Jianye district of Nanjing. The signing ceremony was held Monday in Nanjing.
The east China headquarters of Xiaomi will be committed to the breakthrough of new technologies and new formats through the development of smart hardware and the Internet of Things by integrating upstream and downstream industries and enterprises for the creation of an ecological chain based in the Yangtze River Delta and reaching out to the country and the world.
Founded in 2010, Xiaomi is a privately owned Chinese electronics company that designs, develops and sells smart phones, mobile apps and consumer electronics.
Boosted by the recent relocation of Alibaba’s Jiangsu headquarters to Nanjing last June, Internet giants will help Nanjing gain the upper hand in the development of innovation-oriented industries to give a strong impetus to techno firms in their quest for industrial agglomeration.
