The 2017 Qinhu-Lake Eight-Delicacy Gourmet Festival was unveiled at the Qinhu Lake Tourist Resort in Jiangyan district, Taizhou city, Jiangsu province, on Sept 20.
The Taizhou quality supervision bureau also released local preparation standards for Qinhu-Lake eight delicacies, fish cake and shrimp ball for the first time.
Located in Taizhou city, the Qinhu Lake with vast water areas, clear water quality and abundant waterweeds boasts its fine, tender, delicious and nutritious aquatic animals and plants. Qinhu Lake eight delicacies are Duan crab, Qing shrimp, soft-shelled turtle, whitebait, four kinds of fish, spiral shell, waterfowl and aquatic plants. The Qinhu Lake eight delicacy banquet is very famous.
