Seminar for Senior Radio & TV Journalists and Editors from Central and East European Countries officially kicked off in Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation yesterday morning.About 20 radio and TV journalists and editors from Central and East European Countries are invited to participate in the seminar and its scheduled courses and visits in the following two weeks.
Hosted by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio and Television of the People’s Republic of China, and organized by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, this seminar welcomes the participation of20 senior journalists and editors from16 Central and East European countries. These participants are expected to have lectures and courses on China’s radio and television development and the international cooperation and exchange in the following 2 weeks.
Bu Yu, President and Chairman of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, joined the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech. Mr. Bu gave a general introduction to JSBC, highlighting on the developments and growing popularity of JSBC. Yang Yong, Director of the European, North American and Oceanian Affairs Division, International Cooperation Department, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Televisionalso extended his warm welcome to foreign friends and wished this seminar a great success.
Tomasz Sajewicz, Head of Beijing Bureau at Polish Public Radio,expressed his appreciation on behalf of all the guest journalists presented. He said that this was a good chance to know about China, to know about the Belt & Road initiative and experience new culture, looking forward to the coming discussions and challenges.
