  The Roller Games are taking place in Nanjing, China to bring together all forms of inline skating with the competition going on in Jubaoshan Park. The open circuit of the group event has a total length of 305 meters. The runners wore roller skates and hand-held levers, leapt from a 1.7-metre high stage with a ramp, and, like slalom, crossed the 45 hurdles set on the track to reach the finish line. According to the rules, the team that spends the shortest time wins. Teams from Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and Slovakia each sent two men and two women to participate in the competition. After two rounds of intense excitement, the German team won the group event with a total of 3 minutes and 59 seconds of 83, with the Czech and Spanish teams placed second and third.
