A total of ten people in Yangzhou have received the first batch of drone pilot licenses in the area, according to Jiangsu media reports on Sept 1. At present, there are about 100 drone players in the city.
According to China’s “Civil Unmanned Aircraft Systems Driver Management Interim Provisions”, drone pilots must obtain a license issued by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China. The license is available if pilots pass training and theoretical exams on laws and regulations, as well as flight theory.
